Chamber Concert: Jewels and Colors
Sunday, November 18 • 3:00 p.m.
Three unique chamber compositions will be performed that will fill the theatre with
musical energy and somber explorations of mood and color. The program opens with Sergei Prokofiev’s Overture on Hebrew Themes followed by the subtle emotional labyrinth of Maurice Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin. The program concludes with a
final statement featuring Olivier Messiaen’s well-known Quartet for the End of Time.

Nellie Threadneedle is unhappy in Cricket’s Corner. She sets out on a quest to make her life bigger. Ms. Threadneedle learns she must resist appealing distractions and that she is responsible for her actions. She persists and achieves her goal, but you’ll be surprised what she finds along the way!

Symphony Concert: Russian Fairy Tale

This delightful concert will feature a masterpiece in the world of opera from the pen of a Russian genius. For this special concert, the symphony collaborates with artists from the Pacific Encore Performances Opera Company to perform the ever-popular Snegurochka (The Snow Maiden) by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

Christina Brame Gospel Choir

An Evening To Celebrate The King
Sunday, December 2 • 7:30 p.m.
The Christina Brame Gospel Choir, founded in 2005, will perform an evening of worship and praise in the Meagher Theatre. Various area church choirs are invited to participate− come embrace the Advent season with the choir. This event follows the live nativity Greccio celebration which takes place this same evening at 6:30 p.m. in Morgan Circle.

Holiday Lights– Broadway Nights

This rags-to-riches duo features Don Kawash, one of the greatest Ragtime pianists, and bass baritone Randy Shupp. The performance is brimmingwith holiday season music from Broadway, movies and religious and secular musical traditions. Songs
include everything from classical O Holy Night and O Chanukah to A Christmas Carol, Tom Lehrer’s satirical expose of Christmas commercialism. Join them as they create a Winter Wonderland, listen for those Silver Bells and wish for a White Christmas.
Just in time to get us in the Christmas spirit!
