Bo Obama stars in new White House video

Sasha and Maliaare already front and center in a new campaign ad — but nowPresident Obama is once again deploying the administration’s most potent asset.
It’s Bo, of course, starring in a new Web video that ostensibly promotes the White House Easter Egg Roll (ticket lottery open now through Monday morning) but which some strategists argue is designed to say to voters, “Look at that puppy! Look at him! Don’t you want this puppy in the White House? Don’t you?” (see video. . . )
Complex messages in the video. We see Bo, in pink bunny ears, sitting in a crouch. Then he walks away to reveal a red Easter egg. Did Bo just poop an Easter egg?!? No: A bok-bok sound effect signals that what we have here is a Portuguese water dog impersonating a rabbit impersonating a chicken. Oh, just watch it.
