POSITION VACANCY
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Elementary School Principal – The Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, a high-performing school district located 12 miles southwest of Philadelphia, is seeking applicants for the position of principal at Nether Providence Elementary School. Serving grades K-5 with an enrollment of 410 students, the principal is responsible for leadership of the professional and support staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive educational program, in accordance with school board policies and administrative rules and regulations. In addition to a Pennsylvania certificate as an Elementary Principal (K-6) or Principal (K-12), candidates with a master’s degree in education, successful experience in teaching and administration, and knowledge of Pennsylvania academic standards, scheduling, budget, school construction, and staff development experience are highly desired. Twelve month position available July 1, 2012.
